About the VTN-1MT pump
VTN-1MT is the self-contained model of the VTN series: instead of an electric motor it carries a hydraulic motor driven by the tractor's power take-off. The unit mounts via the standard SA-1 hitch, lowers the pump into the tank with a telescopic boom, and is ready to work with no power grid, no foundation and no fixed installation. The hydraulic end is the same as on the rest of the series: raw manure from 75% moisture without water dilution, fibres and stalks sheared by the cutting mechanism.
Key features:
- Fully self-contained: driven by the power take-off of a tractor (for example, an MTZ-82) — no electricity needed on site
- A telescopic boom up to 12 m lowers the pump straight from the edge — the intake depth follows the boom length and its angle
- Deployed by a single operator: drive up, lower the boom, start pumping — no crane, no foundation
- One machine serves every point of the farm: manure collectors, lagoons, temporary and remote sites
- Capacity from 300 t/h on liquid and from 200 t/h on viscous manure (85% moisture); 28 m head; pumping distance up to 2 km
Applications:
- Livestock complexes: pumping and loading the liquid fraction at every point of the farm with one machine, without fixed pumping stations.
- Construction and temporary sites: dewatering pits, sumps and tanks with no power supply laid in.
- Field lagoons and remote manure storages: pumping where running a cable is costly or impossible.
When sites are scattered and there is no grid, VTN-1MT does the job with a single tractor. For a fixed grid-powered installation, see the base VTN-1 or the compact VTN-1M pump-mixer; and when the volumes outgrow what a tractor can drive, there is the stationary VTN-1DU flagship.
A pump where there is no socket
Running a 380 V line to a distant lagoon or a temporary site means a design, poles and lead times. The VTN-1MT is driven from the tractor's power take-off: you drive up to the tank, the boom lowers the pump into the mass — pumping starts, and no wiring or foundation was needed. And however many points the farm has, one unit on one tractor covers them all.
No stationary node gets built: no power supply to the point, no foundation, no installation — that cost stays with the farm. No dilution water is added: like the whole series, the 1MT takes the mass from 75% moisture as it is. By our model, dilution water costs a 400-cow farm roughly BYN 24,000–53,000 a year (conservative assumptions) — the calculator will work out the figure for your herd.
Estimate your farm's savings
What the water added to dilute manure costs per year: hauling, electricity, and the water itself.
Norm: 55 kg/head/day at 88.4% moisture; milking parlour effluent 20 l/head/day

Certification is held by the manufacturer of the series, VitTechNasos LLC; the VTN series is built by NPO-Organika, the successor to that manufacturer.
How a VTN differs from a mass-produced pump
The stationary alternative is a mass-produced sewage pump from municipal services weighing 1,150–1,300 kg (by its manufacturer's passport), plus wiring for the point and a lifting device to match. The VTN-1MT solves the same task on the move: 500 kg with the base boom, PTO drive, mounting on a standard SA-1 hitch — and manure from 75% moisture handled without water dilution.
Working principle of the VTN-1MT pump
The VTN-1MT submersible centrifugal pump is built on the VTN-1 hydraulics but designed to work without a power grid: the impeller is turned by a hydraulic motor driven from the tractor's power take-off (the tractor's standard hydraulics only steer the boom). The unit mounts on the tractor via the standard SA-1 hitch; the telescopic boom — up to 12 m — lowers the pump into a manure collector, lagoon or pit: with the base boom, liquid is drawn from a depth of 2.5 to 5.5 m depending on the boom angle. The pumped mass can be transferred at once through the pressure line; the limit is 2 km, and in practice it is set by flow rate, pipeline diameter, lift and moisture of the mass.
Reviews from farms
These letters of thanks and reviews were addressed to the manufacturer of the series, VitTechNasos LLC; today the VTN series is built by NPO-Organika, the successor to that manufacturer.
“Our company is satisfied with the pump. It has a simple design, which is not unimportant. We have had no problems in operation.”
“The work was carried out in accordance with the requirements of the applicable law and with the technical specification, with dependable quality and within the agreed deadline. During the work the staff of VitTechNasos LLC proved to be skilled and highly qualified specialists.”

VTN-1MT — frequently asked questions
Does the VTN-1MT work without electricity?
Yes — the power source is the tractor itself: the hydraulic drive runs from the tractor's power take-off. No mains supply, no generator, no cable trench; the tractor's own hydraulics only move the boom.
Which tractor will do?
For the base boom — any tractor with a PTO (an MTZ-82, for example); it hangs on the standard SA-1 hitch, PTO speeds are 540/1000 rpm with 1000 as the rated mode. For the 12 m boom version, tractor requirements are specified at ordering.
From what depth does it draw liquid?
With the base boom, from 2.5–5.5 m; the extended boom version reaches down to 6 m. In both cases the depth depends on the boom angle.
What does the PTO drive give me over an electric motor?
Mobility with the same hydraulics (a 243 mm impeller, a cutting mechanism against fibres): the pump is not tied to one spot — the tractor carries it from tank to tank. The impeller speed is set by the PTO, so the capacity — from 300 t/h on liquid manure — follows the tractor's mode.
How do I order a VTN-1MT, and what about the price?
Payment is by prepayment; we quote the price on request after selecting the configuration (boom and hose length, discharge gooseneck). Main items are kept in stock; we will bring the unit to any region of Belarus or Russia, and the pump carries the factory 12-month warranty.
The pump is out in the field — what if something fails?
There is no electrical gear on the unit — the drive comes from the tractor PTO, and there is a minimum of parts needing service in the field. A 12-month warranty, repairs and spare parts at the manufacturer in Vitebsk, main components in stock. A buyer from the Leningrad region who has run a VTN-1MT since 2013 writes: “We have had no problems in operation”.
Our sites are scattered — how many machines will we need?
One. The VTN-1MT is not installed in a fixed place: the tractor carries it between manure collectors, lagoons and temporary sites, and one operator is enough to set it up.
Price on request: the configuration is assembled for your site. Leave a request and an engineer will select the right version and quote the price.
