About the VTN-1DU pump
VTN-1DU is the flagship of the series — not "the same pump, only stronger", but different hydraulics. An impeller from 340 mm at reduced 1000 rpm with a 22–50 kW drive delivers the highest capacity in the range; the highest head — up to 40 m — is the limit of a version with an enlarged impeller. Like the whole series, the VTN-1DU moves raw manure from 75% moisture without water dilution. The 1.5 to 3 m column and submersion from 0.5 to 10 m are meant for deep tanks; mixing at the intake covers a radius of up to 7 m — on a large lagoon, one unit covers the whole zone.

Applications:
- Large livestock complexes: big manure collectors and lagoons, pumping to remote storage and fields — up to 2 km.
- Treatment plants and sewers: large volumes of effluents and sediment over long lines.
- Industrial sites: process effluents with sediment, deep receiving tanks.
VTN-1DU goes where volumes and lines have outgrown the base model: a large farm, a deep tank, remote storage. For typical manure collectors the VTN-1 is enough; when mixing matters more than volume, look at the compact VTN-1M; and when there is no grid at the site, the PTO-driven VTN-1MT does the job.
One unit instead of two
When the volumes have outgrown the base pump, the usual answer is a second pump or an intermediate booster station on the way to a distant store. The VTN-1DU covers the same task with a single unit: up to 650 t/h on liquid manure and a distance of up to 2 km (depends on flow rate and pipeline diameter). The head reaches up to 40 m on a separate version; the working limits are matched to the task. Fewer pieces of equipment means less installation, less wiring and fewer points of failure.
The larger the herd, the more the dilution water costs: by our model a 1,000-cow complex loses roughly BYN 59,000–132,000 a year on it, and a 2,000-cow one twice that (a model estimate on conservative assumptions). Operating principle of the VTN-1DU pump
The VTN-1DU submersible centrifugal pump is the flagship of the series for viscous and contaminated media in large volumes and over long lines: manure and effluents with sediment travel from big collectors and lagoons to remote storage, fields and processing. Submersion from 0.5 to 10 m and a column from 1.5 to 3 m allow it to work in deep tanks, while the mixing radius of up to 7 m evens out the mass across the whole intake area — no separate mixer is needed even on a large lagoon.
The step up comes not from pushing the base design harder but from different hydraulics: an enlarged impeller — from 340 mm — runs at reduced 1000 rpm with a 22–50 kW electric motor; the discharge spigot is from 150 mm. The rest is the series' signature engineering: steel wetted parts and a cutting mechanism at the inlet shearing fibres and stalks. Through the pressure line the mass travels up to 2 km; the actual reach is set by flow rate, pipeline diameter, lift and moisture of the mass.

Up to 650 t/h and up to 40 m are limits of different versions, not one duty point; we select the version for your task at ordering.
Installation and site preparation
- Installation is done by the manufacturer. Supply, installation and commissioning under a single contract: we deliver, install, start the equipment up and hand over a working station under an acceptance certificate. Replacing old equipment is possible — dismantling it is our job.
- What the customer prepares before the installers arrive: a concreted pad by the manure collector and a cleaned receiving tank. We send the requirements once the order is placed — for your own scheme.
- Power connection. The pump is connected to a 380–400 V supply through a control panel; the panel, the cable and the protective switchgear are part of the scope of supply agreed for the order.
- Servicing without a crane. To lift the pump for servicing, the station comes with a portal or a jib crane with a hoist — the pump is raised by your own people, no mobile crane required.
- The first start-up is carried out by our specialists during commissioning; the customer receives the operating manual and the servicing schedule.
VTN-1DU — frequently asked questions
Is the VTN-1DU just a more powerful VTN-1?
No — it has different hydraulics rather than a boosted base design: an impeller from 340 mm at 1000 rpm (the VTN-1 has 243 mm at 1500), a 22–50 kW drive, a spigot from 150 mm. Hence the highest capacity and submersion depth in the range; the highest head belongs to a separate version.
Are the capacity of up to 650 t/h and the head of up to 40 m one and the same version?
No: they are limits of different versions of the model. Send us your task parameters — we will select the specific version and state its working figures.
What tanks does the VTN-1DU suit?
Deep ones: submersion from 0.5 to 10 m, a pump column from 1.5 to 3 m. The installation opening is from 800×800 mm depending on the version.
Wouldn't two smaller pumps be a better deal?
Two pumps mean two installation openings, two power lines, two lifting devices and two service points. The VTN-1DU was built precisely so that a large manure collector is covered by one unit: up to 450 t/h even on viscous manure (85% moisture) and a mixing radius of up to 7 m.
